[Diva and Claudia are drinking together! Probably at Lux because that's where classy ladies such as themselves like to hang, but whatever, this is meta, I do what I want. Regardless, Diva has shared a bit more about herself and Johan after a few drinks, and is now frowning at her glass of wine lightly, even making a slightly displeased noise.]

You know, I don't think he's really interested in either one of us, honestly. That's so stupid, right? [She sets her head on the table, looking at it like it might reveal the mysteries of the universe] I thought he might be gay a couple of times, because, well... You'd have to know too, I'm sure.

[this is starting off on such a good foot...]

[ claudia is such a classy lady. so much, in fact, that she orders grappa after she and diva seem less likely to use concealed weapons on each other. her italian friends are a really bad influence... ]

He doesn't seem interested in... Anything.

[coloratura]

I know, it's really the worst... [After a pause, though, she straightens up again to add,] Well, no, he is interested in some things, but it's in a weird way. Like he changed completely after his sister got here. He was a different person... Which I can sort of understand, but it's still troublesome.

[She reaches out to drift her fingers lazily along the rim of her glass]

So I don't like her.

[auditor]

[ you would, diva. (claudia is not surprised.) ]

Different. How?

[coloratura]

Hm...

[She pauses for several moments to think of how to phrase it, because in a way, it's an abstract and intuited feeling, so it's difficult to put into words in the way she wants. When she speaks again there's a note of hesitation in her words, but only because she doesn't want to necessarily make it sound like he's done something wrong. She understands all too well how someone's presence can alter you, and even as specific as a twin sister.]

It's... I think in a way, he was more honest when she got here. Or at least, that's the feeling I got. He was very friendly, in his way, before, and it was like he always knew exactly the right thing to say. And he could still do that, but it was different... Because I don't think anything bothered him before, but she made him uncertain.

[She makes a discontent noise again, not really satisfied with that explanation, but it'll have to do.] It's hard to explain, I guess.

[auditor]

[ she doesn't think of it much, but claudia understands, too. she grew up when her brother wasn't looking, and when they stand by each other, she feels like a little girl again. not... in the best of ways, either. the only way ezio seems to influence her anymore is how angry she is at the given moment. claudia muses into her grappa before answering. ]

He lied about her.

Hm? [She tilts her head lightly] How do you mean?

[auditor]

[ shakes her head. more vigorously than necessary, but you know... drunk. she told herself to move forward, re: johan, and before that slip, she had been. still, something about it nags at her. (family!!! or whatever, man.) which is dumb when there is so much more about johan to be wary of. ]

It's nothing! And it was a long time ago.

[ you know, her accent must be hella thick. LMAO. ]
